During a recent interview, Victony, a well-known Nigerian musician, talked about his journey to stardom and characterized his accomplishments as “natural.” Reflecting on what he referred to as his unique path in the music business, he stressed the authentic bond he has developed with his supporters.
When questioned about his achievements, Victony remarked, “The way I’ve progressed in the industry has been quite intriguing because I’ve been approaching it unconventionally. It’s just me and my fans, figuring out how to connect and conveying to them, ‘Hey, I’ve got this project; help me promote it.'”
He stressed that his achievement feels authentic because his narrative truly connects with people on a genuine level. “Reflecting on my current position using that approach, I believe the most fitting word to describe my success would be ‘organic’ since nothing was ever contrived. I’ve been sharing my story, and those who resonate with it have continued to show their support, leading to its growth,” he elaborated.
When inquired about what makes him stand out from other musicians, Victony pointed out multiple factors that distinguish him from his counterparts. “To be honest, it’s a combination of things. One factor is my unique sound, which I have crafted and made my own. My sense of style is distinct, I suppose, because you’ll see me wearing things that I don’t think other artists would choose to wear,” he explained.
