Apple has nearly updated its entire iPad lineup in 2024, except for the entry-level iPad. According to 9to5Mac, the company plans to introduce the 11th-generation iPad in early 2025 with significant performance upgrades.

Launch Timeline and Software

Apple aims to launch the iPad 11 alongside iPadOS 18.3, expected in January 2025. The device will come pre-installed with the latest iPadOS update. Apple has already released the developer beta version of iPadOS 18.3, signaling its readiness for a broader rollout.

Performance Enhancements with A17 Pro Chip

The iPad 11 will likely retain its predecessor’s design but deliver a major performance boost. Apple may equip the device with the **A17 Pro chip**, enabling advanced artificial intelligence features through Apple Intelligence.

The iPad 11 could also feature Apple’s first in-house modem for **Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity**. However, reports suggest this modem may have slower peak speeds and reduced reliability compared to Qualcomm’s. It might also lack support for **mmWave 5G**, limiting its capabilities.

Upcoming Apple Products in 2025

In addition to the entry-level iPad, Apple plans to release other products in 2025, including:

iPhone SE 4

The iPhone SE 4 will likely feature the **A18 chip**, offering improved performance and 8GB RAM. This model will adopt a modern design inspired by the iPhone 14, with an OLED display and Face ID. The shift from Touch ID to Face ID signals a significant design upgrade.

M4 MacBook Air

Apple will refresh the **MacBook Air** with the **M4 chip** and 16GB RAM in its base model. While maintaining its lightweight profile, this device promises improved performance and efficiency.

iPad Air

The iPad Air, updated earlier in 2024, is expected to receive the **M3 chip** in 2025. Apple may also introduce accessories like a Magic Keyboard specifically designed for the Air model.

Second-Generation AirTag

Apple plans to launch a **new AirTag** with better tracking features and enhanced anti-stalking protections. This update will address user concerns and expand its usability.

Smart Home Display

Apple is reportedly developing a **smart home control hub**. This device will feature a 6-inch display, a front-facing camera, and dedicated apps for media playback and device management. Combining watchOS and iOS elements, it will enhance Apple’s smart home ecosystem.

By expanding its product range in 2025, Apple aims to meet evolving customer needs and strengthen its technological ecosystem.
